WAVE LAMPS BY CARDBOARD TUBES

This lamp is made from recycled cardboard tubes. Through a series of longitudinal cuts, strips in the cardboard are made and then carefully molded to obtain these undulating forms. As you change the pattern of cuts and folds one can invent several ways that create attractive lighting effects.

The cardboard tubes are commonly disposed in industries like textile factories or printing facilities.

Esta lámpara esta hecha a partir del reciclaje de un tubo de cartón . Mediante una serie de cortes longitudinales, se crean las tiras de cartón que luego se van moldeando cuidadosamente hasta obtener estas ondulantes formas . A medida que se cambia el patrón de cortes y pliegues se pueden obtener diversas formas que crean atractivos efectos de luz.
Estos tubos de cartón son comúnmente desechados de fabricas que utilizan textiles o bobinas de papel.

This shelf system for the home or the office is in fact made by used bicycle tires, tensed between two used furniture legs. This creates an interesting elastic structure that allows to keep books as well as several objects, that stays put by the elastic pressure of the tires.

Esta estantería para el estudio o cualquier lugar de la casa esta hecho a partir de los neumáticos usados de las bicicletas, puestos de forma tensionada sobre dos patas redondas reusadas de muebles. Creando una interesante estructura elástica que permite guardar libros, así como varios objetos, que se mantienen en su sitio por la presión elástica de los neumáticos.

This lamp is made with metal clamps of various sizes, commonly used to hold papers. Each clip is pressed against each other, creating an interesting metallic structure that sifts the light. The chromed finish also shimmers from and reflects the light.

Esta lámpara se construye utilizando pinzas metálicas de varios tamaños, usadas comúnmente para sujetar papeles. Cada pinza se va prensando una con otra ,creando un interesante estructura metálica que tamiza la luz, además de crear efectos de reflejos y destellos gracias al acabado cromado del metal.

HIPPOCAMPUS LAMP

This lamp this made with parts of recycled hose of translucent PVC, commonly used in gardening and irrigation. Each hose section fits one and another, throughout the central section that serves as column, conformes an organic structure that resembles the torso of a seahorse. In their inner cavity the lamps are located, which when igniting resemble the belly of a luminous creature.

Esta lámpara esta fabricada con partes de manguera de PVC traslucida reciclada, comúnmente utilizada en jardinería y riego.Cada sección de manguera se encaja una con otra, a lo largo del tramo central que sirve de columna, conformando una estructura orgánica que se asemeja el torso de un hipocampo. En su cavidad interior se ubican las lámparas, que al encenderse semejan el vientre de una criatura luminosa.

RECYCLED PLASTIC BOWL

Bowl made of recycled HDPE (High-density polyethylene) bottles, and produced by a manual molding system which consists of controlled heating, taking advantage of the thermal properties of the material. In the production process the strips of the material are prepared on the mold, forming a framework which melts when heated and creating this singular form. This system of low power consumption manufacturing allows to create diverse objects.

Bol hecho a base de polietileno de alta densidad reciclado de botellas, y producido por un sistema de moldeado manual por calentamiento controlado, aprovechando las propiedades térmicas del material. En el proceso de producción las tiras del material se disponen sobre el molde, formando un entramado el cual al calentarse se va compactando creando esta singular forma. Este sistema de fabricación de bajo consumo de energía permite crear diversos objetos.

These lamps are done with envelopes that are used like molds for muffin. These circular pieces that are made of paper with the doubled edges and waves, are united creating interesting organic forms. This way one second life occurs to these daily objects, taking advantage of its singular form.

Estas lámparas están hechas con las envolturas que se utilizan como moldes para muffin. Estas piezas circulares que están hechas de papel con los bordes doblados y ondulados, se unen creando interesantes formas orgánicas. De esta manera se da una segunda vida a estos objetos cotidianos, aprovechando su singular forma.
